International campaign with Beeyond to visit Kansas City

As the world prepares for one of the most important global events, the FIFA World Cup 2026, Kansas City is getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors as one of the tournament’s official host cities. To make the most of this unique opportunity, Visit KC, in collaboration with MMGY and the Beeyond team, launched a high-impact international campaign aimed at positioning the city as a vibrant tourist destination—far beyond the event itself.
The one-month branding and awareness campaign was carried out in four international cities across Brazil and Germany, two key markets for inbound tourism.
In Brazil, the campaign was displayed on 132 screens, reaching over 2 million people in:
- Rio de Janeiro: Focused on high-traffic avenues using street furniture such as totems and bus stops.
- São Paulo: Leveraged the city’s iconic clocks and was activated at Guarulhos International Airport, one of the country's main tourism hubs.
In Germany, the campaign included 194 screens, reaching over 1.6 million people in Frankfurt and Hamburg, using urban panels, video walls, train and bus stations, totems, and airports to maximize visibility in high-traffic areas.
This campaign aimed to build excitement around the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the U.S. while inviting international travelers to explore everything Kansas City has to offer—its culture, gastronomy, music, and hospitality—encouraging them to envision match day as a memorable travel experience.
Thanks to the collaboration between Beeyond, MMGY, and Visit KC, the city is now positioned not only as a World Cup host, but also as an authentic and appealing global destination.
